We’re ukactive Awards Finalists!

We are proud to announce that Moray Leisure Centre has been shortlisted as one of just four finalists in the UK Active Regional Public Club/Centre of the Year – Scotland category at the ukactive Awards 2026.

This national recognition is a significant achievement for Moray Leisure Centre and reflects the dedication, passion and commitment of colleagues across our organisation who work tirelessly every day to provide high-quality facilities, programmes and services that encourage people of all ages and abilities to lead healthier, more active lives.

The UK Active Awards celebrate the people, organisations and initiatives that are raising standards and driving positive change across the UK’s physical activity, leisure and fitness sector. The awards shine a spotlight on those making a meaningful impact in their communities through innovation, collaboration and a commitment to improving health and wellbeing.

This year’s awards attracted 190 entries across 14 categories, with organisations of all shapes and sizes from the public, private and independent sectors submitting nominations. To be recognised as one of only four finalists in our category is a fantastic accomplishment and demonstrates the positive impact our team continues to make within the local community.

Our fellow finalists in the Regional Public Club/Centre of the Year – Scotland category are:

While the nomination recognises Moray Leisure Centre, it is also recognition of the collective effort across our organisation. Every colleague plays an important role in delivering welcoming environments, outstanding customer experiences and opportunities for people to be active, improve their wellbeing and connect with their communities. This achievement belongs to everyone, and we are incredibly proud to see that shared commitment recognised on a national stage.

The winners will be announced at the UK Active Awards ceremony on Thursday 8 October 2026 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham, where industry leaders from across the UK will come together to celebrate excellence, innovation and the organisations making a lasting difference to the nation’s health and wellbeing.
