New Coffee In The Cafe: Introducing Maison Dieu

A New Coffee Partner at Moray Leisure Centre 

We’re delighted to announce that Maison Dieu Coffee Roasters will be our new coffee provider at Moray Leisure Centre – and we think this is a partnership that brings together two great local stories.

Based in Brechin, Maison Dieu began with a simple idea: to bring great speciality coffee to their hometown. Founded in 2020, the business has since gone from strength to strength, developing a reputation for quality coffee both in Scotland and further afield.

A strong local and sporting connection

Maison Dieu’s story is closely linked to Scottish football, with co-founders Euan Spark, footballing brothers Harry and John Souttar, and John’s wife Kayley behind the business.

For us at Moray Leisure Centre, the connection with Euan Spark makes this partnership particularly special. Euan has strong ties to Moray, having captained Elgin City FC for several years and becoming a well-known and respected figure during his time at Borough Briggs.

Since moving into the world of coffee, Euan and the Maison Dieu team have built an impressive business, with their coffee now reaching some pretty high-profile destinations. They supply Aston Villa with coffee for their training ground, bringing their speciality coffee to players and staff at the Premier League club.

Their coffee has also earned praise from some familiar faces across the sporting world, including former England and Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham, legendary jockey Sir AP McCoy, and North-East golfing star Paul Lawrie.

Coming soon to our café

We’re really excited to bring Maison Dieu’s speciality coffee to the Moray Leisure Centre café. Whether you’re stopping by after a swim, grabbing a coffee following a workout, meeting friends or simply enjoying a visit to the centre, there’ll soon be something new to enjoy.

And there’s no need to worry if caffeine isn’t your thing – decaf will also be available. ☕️
