📣 Important Update: CCTV in the Pool Changing Village

At Moray Leisure Centre, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all members and visitors.

As part of this commitment, CCTV has now been installed in the poolside changing village and will be fully operational from Monday 18 May.

Where CCTV is in operation

The cameras are positioned within communal walkways and access areas only.

They are fixed in place and do not look into private spaces such as:

  • Changing cubicles

  • Toilets

  • Shower areas

Why CCTV has been introduced

CCTV is in place to support the safety of everyone, helping to deter issues and provide helpful information if an incident occurs, all while contributing to a secure and welcoming environment.This update has been made to support:

  • The safety and wellbeing of all members and visitors
  • Incident review and response where required
  • Prevention of theft and anti-social behaviour
  • A secure and welcoming environment for everyone

Mobile phones and recording devices

We would also like to remind all members that the use of mobile phones and recording devices are not permitted within the pool changing village at any time.

This includes:

  • Mobile phones
  • Tablets
  • Smart watches or wearable devices with camera functions

This policy is in place to protect privacy and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users.
