Importance of water for weigh loss

On a weekly basis I sound like a broken record telling you DRINK your 2 litres of water minimum a day.
Let me explain why water plays such a big part in the number on the scales……

60% of your body is composed of water, meaning that water plays a role in just about every bodily function. The more hydrated you are, the more efficiently your body works at tasks that range from thinking to burning body fat.
Your body burns fat naturally and converts it to energy also known as lipolysis, the first step in this process is called hydrolysis, which is a process where your body adds water to fat to help break it down, so you see water and enough of it is essential to help your body break down fat.

Increasing your water intake causes an increase in lipolysis and therefore an increase in metabolism, which is associated with weight loss. There is research that even suggests drinking cold water helps boost your metabolism because your body works a little harder when trying to warm it up, which helps you burn more calories a process called thermogenesis.

Water is also essential for helping your body’s waste removal process. If your body isn’t getting enough water, you are more likely to get constipated and won’t pass waste as frequently as you should. When waste stores in your body you’ll feel bloated and heavier, and this will absolutely give you a higher number on the scales, and If all that was not enough reason to drink more water furthermore, If you’re not drinking enough, your salt/water ratio becomes unbalanced especially after a high salt meal and your body will hang on to any extra fluids known as water weight until the balance is restored, the way to restore this is to DRINK more water.

It may also seem counterintuitive, but your body also tends to store water when you’re dehydrated.

Stored water = extra pounds on the scales.

DRINK 2L OF WATER A DAY MINIMUM!!!!!! Its important to aid your weight loss and over all health.
