Designed to help you feel better, move more, and build sustainable habits, it’s self-guided but not alone. With access to the gym, fitness classes, and weekly drop-in support through our Fit Life membership, you can go at your own pace – and we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

This programme is designed to help new Fit Life members kickstart a healthier lifestyle. If you’re not already a member, signing up for Fit Life is quick and easy – and gives you full access to the Heart of Moray experience.

The Heart of Moray is open to those who are looking to improve their health including those that are living with or at risk of one or more controlled long-term conditions and require support and encouragement to engage in physical activity. If you have an unstable or unmanaged condition, please contact your GP to discuss.

“I was delighted when I saw Heart of Moray advertised and signed up straight away. I was in a complete slump and felt awful. I needed something — and Heart of Moray was it. From the very first meeting, I was excited by the friendliness and positivity of the Moray Leisure Centre team, and I was keen to get started!
That first step into the gym was quite intimidating, but after discussing which exercises would help me and be easy on my back, I was off. The classes are so good. If you have any issues, the trainer gives you alternatives to try and is always happy to help.
I’m a visual person, so I really enjoyed the weekly drop-in and getting weighed. It really helped me to go through all the nutritional information, which made it easier to make the necessary changes — without ever feeling like I was ‘dieting’ or ‘missing out’ on anything.
I’m absolutely delighted with my weight loss over the last 12 weeks. While I know it was me who had to implement the plan, I really appreciated all the support and advice from the trainers. I’m looking forward to carrying on and getting even fitter.
